Psychotherapist and Mental Health Social Worker

Hi, I’m Liz. I’m a qualified social worker with over 15 years’ experience walking alongside people through some of the heavier seasons of life. I’m also the founder of Her Fearless Heart, which began in 2008 as a personal blog and grew into a long-standing mental health support space shaped by listening, presence, and shared experience.

I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or not quite like themselves anymore. Those moments where life feels heavy, confusing, or harder to carry alone. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear reason for reaching out. Often, we start exactly where you are.

My approach is grounded, compassionate, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you can slow down, feel safe enough to be honest, and make sense of what’s been building beneath the surface. I’m particularly mindful of creating an affirming and inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ individuals, and for anyone who has felt unseen or misunderstood in traditional support settings.

All sessions are offered online, allowing you to access support in a way that fits around your life. Whether that’s from your home, during a quiet moment in the day, or wherever feels most comfortable. Alongside client work, I also offer affordable online supervision for fellow mental health professionals, with the same emphasis on care, reflection, and sustainability.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: support should feel human. If something here resonates, you’re welcome to reach out, we can take it one step at a time.
